Teddy Bear Brigade

Providing comfort for kids

We are proud to sponsor and participate in a variety of events throughout our community. You'll see us in parades, CenterFest, events for the Lynchburg Humane Society and more! Over the years, we have raised more than $250,000 for our local Children's Miracle Network. We work to support your community because it is our community, too!

Our goal is to improve quality of life through financial education. Our mission is to provide financial education to the youth and adults in our community...from K-Grey!

Each year we offer financial literacy workshops to schools, colleges, and civic groups. We also provide special sessions and webinars to our members!

Our goal is to make our community a better place with financially informed youth and adults. It is our pleasure to provide resources and materials.

Joseph P. Crouch Memorial Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a CVFCU member who is a high school senior entering an accredited college or university. This scholarship is based on merit and citizenship of the student, rather than financial need. To be eligible, the student must open and maintain an account prior to the application process.

Graduating seniors who are members before February of 2024 will be able to apply for the 2024 scholarship.

Shared Branching is a national network of credit unions that gives members thousands of convenient locations. You can perform transactions as if you are at Your Community Credit Union.

Use your MoneyPass ATM card at any of the ATMs listed on the MoneyPass ATM Locator without paying a surcharge. If an address has more than one ATM, please look for the MoneyPass logo on a sign at the ATM or displayed on the ATM screen to avoid paying a surcharge.

Teddy Bear Brigade

We support this outreach of Gleaning for the World, a local charity that provides support in times of disaster nationwide and across the globe. Each year from International Credit Union Day in October through the end of the year, each of our branches serve as a collection site for new or gently loved stuffed animals (without batteries).

What Difference Can a Stuffed Animal Make?

When responding to a disaster, one of the most important care items sent with relief shipments is stuffed animals. Once we have helped meet the physical needs through food, water, and medicine, a stuffed animal gives emotional comfort to a child in need.
